We flew over Ko Olina last Saturday. I could not identify the large resort that is between the Ihilani and the Marriott Ko Olina resorts. I know it's not Disney as ground has not been broken yet for that resort.

Also, will the Disney resort go in the lagoon between the Ihilani and the above mystery resort?

Thanks.

The new building is a residential condo project which opened last spring. I was there in Feb. with my parents and my dad talked to a sales rep. I think the units sold for $800,000-3,000,000, full ownership.

Here's a link to the place.

We walked by several times on our stay at M.K.O. last May/June and although it looked very nice, I don't think we ever saw a person (other than an employee now and then) anywhere on the grounds.

It's a Centex full ownership project that just opened a few months ago. The Disney Resort is just about to break ground and it's going to be right next to this one.

There are a ton of untis at this place up for rent on vrbo.com although I think a lot of their prices are unrealistic given the current economy. I'm flying in a consultant for my business the week after Thanksgiving and I'm going to put him up here. I e-mailed all of the 2 bedroom owners offering them 2K all inclusinve (taxes, cleaning, etc.) for the week which I thought was more than fair considering how slow of a week that normally is. I got a lot of highly insulted replies, but 3 people understood the situation and were willing to take my offer and I'm renting from a very nice local lady who owns a unit there. I think the majority of the ones who were insulted will be leaving their units empty that week.
