Reserving Ko Olina with points timing

Sorry to sound clueless, but I am a little unsure of the timing of booking with points. I want to reserve a 2 bedroom oceanview for 7 days at Ko Olina. I have over 5000 points so am good there. My desired checkin date would be one of Sunday, September 7, 14, 21, or 28, 2025.

So the confusion is, when can I book? My assumption is, as Select level, I can book 12 months out. From my poking around the MVC site, I believe I can book starting 9am (eastern time) on Friday, September 6, and each of the next couple of Fridays. Is this correct? Is inventory ever released earlier than this?

No, you can reserve 7 nights at 13 months. Your booking window opened in August for all your dates. If available, you should be able to go in and make a reservation now. If not available, you need to wait for the inventory release date each Friday for 12 month reservations.

More should (could) be released at 12 months. According to the Exchange Procedures, only up to 50% of inventory is released at 13 months. The remainder at 12 months. Yo can also try waitlisting if you can't find a reservation.

Also I’ll add that inventory changes all the time so keep looking whenever you get a chance it might pop up.
And look a little earlier than 9 AM too- I booked Maui on release date and the inventory was there at around 8:30 AM.

Thanks for that! I thought I had heard that inventory can show up earlier than the published time.

I can see September 7th, 2BR (2 BR part of a 3BR lockoff) Ocean View right now.
