Resale Purchase - [How do I register with RCI?]

I thought I should share my experience with everyone, might interest new buyers. I just completed an Ebay resale purchase. Purchase date was late january from Shares3000 (Uri Fried) closed with The Timeshare Company. 3400 EOY points on the strip for $511. Everything went very smooth, on Friday March 4 I was given a member number and able to log in as a member on HGVC site.
Question, how do I get on the RCI site, HGVC is closed today so no help there.

Ive got exactly that same question but with regard to a Wyndham purchase. I got my new member number in the mail Saturday, can get on line and make reservations at Wyndham properties, but RCI is a mystery
 
HGVC / RCI Access

For HGVC owners only ... it takes about 10-14 days for RCI to verify/create a profile for you.

On the HGVC site, you have a My Club | RCI Affiliated Resorts section (it expands on the left hand side). When RCI creates your profile, you will then see a Reservations section appear as well. That will then link you directly to the RCI / HGVC portal.

I am not familiar with the Wyndham process.

[Amended...]The OP's post might have been better addressed in the HGVC forum since HGVC members relationship with RCI is unique... but mandolin's response is correct.

In post #2, someone added a Wyndham question to it, which did not belong in the HGVC forum - but the exchanging forum is appropriate for both.
 
Primarily my post was about a HGVC purchase, I think it would have been more useful to members in the HGVC forum.
