Just a comment but I have just reviewed the resale listings for Barony Beach on Red Week and I am really suprised at the number of listing where no reference is made to the season that is being sold. The week # is listed as floating and there is often no reference to the season or the specific unit view referenced in the body of the ad. If I was interested in purchasing I would not want to waste my time E Mailing sellers to find out what they own. I want to see that information in the ad and then I will contact them if they have the season and view I want. I would bet that these folks are getting very little interest when they do not specify what season and view their units are.

I agree. I was looking at possibly buying a Barony week. But I wanted specifically oceanfront and silver season. It was really a hassle e-mailing everone, waiting for responses, and keeping them all straight (who I'd already e-mailed, etc.) as new ads came on. By that time, I had decided that I can exchange in easily at that time although I won't get oceanfront (oh well). All that work (time) worked in my favor, but not theirs.

I agree. Most Redweek ads are useless because of lack of information. Very few I've checked list the season or deeded week # which can help you determine the season.

Yeah but a lot of sellers list their deeded week as floating and then if the description they don't say what week or season they are trying to sell. I made sure I listed my week as floating but then in the description I listed the deeded week # and the view and referenced the gold season. If I was looking to buy I wouldn't even be bothered to waste my time contacting sellers if they did not specify the season and view in their ad

i had contacted redweek about this same situation once and they(redweek) said it was up to the seller to list all the pertinent information.
