just completed resale back to Marriott - manor club wmsburg silver season - $1400.00 (900.00 net) 90 day closing - transaction took 5 minutes
 
No wait list? How did you complete this process so quickly?
 
Marriott bought the week - there is a 166 member wait list if you want them to sell it for you - that offer was 4800 minus 60% service fee.

Thanks for posting. I'm glad you were able to take advantage of Marriott's Resale Operations.

For any owners who may be interested in selling, you may be able to get a better price from Marriott than on the external resale market (although in most cases still not near what the original direct selling prices were.) This is the link to Marriott Resales Operations "Sell Weeks" page.

There's no guarantee that Marriott will accept any specific Weeks. If they do, it may be in the form of an outright purchase by Marriott OR as a listing for which Marriott will act as broker. This post from TUGger BocaBoy explains the difference.
 
I put my Platinum MMC week on the wait list to sell back to them over 3 years ago. Have yet to hear a word.
