Hi everyone! I need a quick opinion.

I need the names and contact info of two or three "reputable" timeshare rental companies, for the purpose of obtaining timeshare weeks for relatives.

I don't want my relatives to be scammed and lose their deposits. I dealt with a very good company (very reasonable prices) a long time ago but lost their name and contact info.

Anything you can provide me in the way of a reliable and proven company would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Vacations Only...

I recommend Vacations Only if you want a full service rental provider. They have a great reputation and currently provide inventory via cooperative relationships with most of the well known rental venues. There is a good chance if you use someone else, you're going to pay abut $150 to $250 more for the double transaction fee. Plus, they have direct access to the TimesharesOnly inventory- which is the largest timeshare owner database in the world.

If you prefer a by-owner type transaction, search a classified site such as TUG, Timeshareforums, MyResort, or TimesharesOnly.. Even if you go this route, I'd still recommend an escrow agent for your protection. I know First American Title offers this service for around $100. Other escrow agents may as well...

Good luck and thank you for helping spread the word about the resort experience to your friends and family!

I've been renting my DVC weeks for years on Redweek with not one problem. Of course I am the one renting but I have never heard of a rental scam from that site.

Where do the relatives want to go? Have you tried II's Getaways??
