I am surprised at the rates for car rental this summer. I will be there for three weeks. I have used the Costco site in the past - is there any other sites to find lower air fares?

Marilyn

Keep watching Costco. I have found Alamo to be the best deal, but the best prices are not necessarily this far out. Just keep watching every day.

We got good rates quoted on Maui and Big Island for June/July 2007 thru Walmart's W810011.

Thanks, Cindy. I will continue to watch. How is your granddaughter doing?

Marilyn

Thanks for asking, Marilyn. She is great! We saw her Thursday and Sunday. They live about 1 1/2 hours from us, in Colorado Springs, but we drove down Thursday and they had to visit some family on Sunday for a birthday, so we fed them that night. The baby is so gorgeous! She is going to be so spoiled!

Which car rental agency?

THANKS! :hi:

Are we going to get more pictures?

What car agency and what is "Walmarts W810011" mean?

Budget, use the W810011 as a BCD code.

thanks, here is what I pulled for dec 9 - dec 23 med size car using the BCD code above:

car 250.00
taxes & fees
91.66
airport concession fee 27.78
car tax 8.40
taxes 13.48
fees 42.00
total 341.66

LOL I guess I can match the $123/wk rate someone pulled on another thread if it weren't for the taxes !

Just check often. I spend the time checking about every week that far out and then get the best deals two months out.

It was Budget

The car agency was Budget and the W code is what you type in on Budget's online reservation where it asks. Remember the car rental fees change as often as airline rates :(
