Inventory has been way lower than normal. How much longer is renovations and repairs expected at Bonnet Creek. Is the PR building even back open yet?

I think it was 2010 that they were renovating and a few weeks before American Thanksgiving they opened that week up as they finished earlier I guess or on time but did not want to over commit but I booked about 50 new ooms. Cancelling the reservations I could not cancel in fear of losing them to the hold and other places further out. I remember that day clearly. If what you say is true it should happen at some point where the inventory opens up.

I saw a warning popped up about renovations, but I can't get it to pop back up again. I thought it was BC.

I was there last week. I was able to book a 2-bedroom for Sunday through Thursday when the last 50% off sale began. Tower 4 was completely closed and blocked off, but everything else appeared open. I think Tower 6 renovations were completed at least a year ago. Based on outside appearance of Tower 4, they're fairly early in the renovation process. About half of the balcony facades on the parking lot side of the building were torn off. I also have a 1-BR booked for 12/14-12/19, which I booked in June, but there's no availability showing now.

Tower 6 was completed some time last year. I stayed at BC in building 6 in a non-PR 3BR DLX in early June.

One of the buildings, I think it was building 3 was completely shut down and encased is scaffolding. It appears they are going "building by building" completely renovating each one.

Didn't affect your ability to use the resort at all, but obviously is affecting inventory. We should be glad they are keeping them up. I can imagine BC is one of the resorts that takes a LOT of wear and tear due to the nature of the guests and the high number of kids who are guests.

Living in Florida, I see how people treat our state like an ashtray

It was Bonnet Creek.
  • Renovations will occur at the resort from September 2025 through September 2026, affecting operations at the check-in desk and other departments; expect signage, noise, dust, odors, and work crews—specific areas and dates include Village Center (Sep 3, 2025–May 31, 2026), Tower 4 (Sep 3, 2025–Sep 30, 2026), Tower 3 roof (Sep 1–Oct 31, 2025), and Tower 4 parking areas (Sep 15–Oct 31, 2025); dates may change.

Both the Village center and Tower 4. No wonder inventory is way lower than normal.
