I have already tried magic eraser, soft scrub, and W2. would like to repaint that section after removing some of my grandson's creative art.

How about nail polish remover, or even white vinegar maybe?? Can't hurt ~ good luck!!

Kilz's spray or brush. Can be gotten the paint section of Home Depot or Lowe's.

Don't be surprised if he didn't etched them into the sheetrock. Will need to "fill" with a light spackle compound, sand and then PRIME again.

thanks will try above suggestions

Rubbing alcohol works on clothing....May work on walks.

Tooth paste (the whitening kind) usually works well for removing ball point ink and markers from walls. Hand sanitizer works too but can leave marks.

hairspray (pump not spray can), because of the alcohol content. So try that or rubbing alcholol. There is stain specific cleaner products in my local grocery store. Do not know how well they work but they have an ink on.

I've also used spray hairspray successfully to get out Sharpie marker on a cupboard, desk, and countertop. Thankfully "permanent" isn't always permanent. My daughter has washable markers but she has always loved the Sharpie.

I have used hairspray successfully when my son expressed his "artistic creativity" on his bedroom walls.

my former neighbor just emailed me to use a small can of silver paint for models to cover up marks and touch up with paint. the problem is Ace Hardware did not match the paint correctly, so now we are doing some walls.
