I just did that a few weeks ago.
Our travels are curtailed by DW's knee replacement.
So now we need to deal with the points for next year.

I may book some back-to-back stays to soak 'em up.
Or a cruise - poor use of points but solves the issue.

I have just under 200 points left, won't pay to save those this year. I am borrowing ahead with MVC this year and next. Need to finish planning our HGV travels for 2026.

Not allowing point transfer between members is a big letdown for HGVC. Other big points system like MVC, DVC or even RCI points can transfer.

They used to, but owners were openly selling them on Facebook, Redweek and the like. Again, a good thing wrecked by the reckless.

Not an apt analogy as one is a publicly-traded company and the other is a necessary public resource. No advantage to HVC to allow this at all.
