Is that a good deal? IDK how worldmark locations points costs go. Though $2k a year MFs it's hopefully 2 weeks...

Sold for a buck, though the buyer does have to pay the closing and transfer fee.

I know for one thing, because that nonfunctional website has made making and managing reservations very difficult, I am considering getting rid of my ownership.

That might be my eBay bid …. Would 20,000 equal at least 2 weeks , if not 3 pending season booked ?

Learned this during my Discovery trial.
Crossed them off of my list.

While this is absolutely true, we are still finding tremendous value with WM timeshare. There are workarounds and worst case, calling the call center to make reservations. The biggest strength of Worldmark is locations along West Coast, coastal cities and national parks. No other timeshare system comes close.

That’s good to know - I might need to phone a friend when get started with new ownership!!

At more than 50% of the resorts in the WorldMark system, including some resorts right on the Oregon and Washington beaches, $2k/year is enough for 2 weeks in a 2 bedroom or 2.5 weeks in a 1 bedroom during Red Season (highest cost), or 5 weeks in a 1 bedroom during Blue Season (lowest cost).

20K Credits will give you 2 HKC and 2 GC. Also resell owners are treated fairly. Full access to all 90+ WM Resorts. Also Bonus Time, Monday Madness, and Inventory Specials.

and 4k for flexchange in II which gets you 5 weeks in Hawaii.

Can you give little more details into this …. Assume have to join II (what’s annual cost?) and is this just process to deposit 4k credits into II?

We have been in process with WM for a ridiculous amount of time waiting for a contract so close a resale purchase we are otherwise happy with, and paying monthly MF's while we wait  .

When I bought, it took about 3 months to close. Is it taking longer now? On the buyer side, they are missing out on the reservation window for summer 2025, no one is happy:crash:

I misunderstood and thought you are selling. Until the contract is transferred and in your account, I don't think there is a way for you to pay. Usually the seller pays the MF while the transfer is in progress, unless you made arrangement to reimburse the seller.

Are you having to pay MF now before the actual close and transfer processes???

Ok - I am the buyer …. Heard today it is taking up to 6 months … thanks for clarifying your post - now I just wait and will have 40,000 + credits banked by the time this closes.

It depends. The last one I added took about 6 weeks.
