Hello All! I gather Redweek's full service for timeshare resales has not gotten a good rep here on TUG in terms of the process timing / communication. For folks who have completed a resale transaction with Redweek full service, how long did it take from the offer accepted by seller to contract signing?

I purchased my MGC contract via Redweek full service. It took about a week and a half. I don’t really have any complaints about the process. I used LT transfers as the closing/escrow company.

Thanks @Fido Chuckwagon . Good to hear, was this purchase this year? And to clarify, with Redweek full service, my understanding was Redweek handles the Purchase Contract step, before passing on to the closing company?

Redweek's full service does not use LT Transfers. How did you accomplish that?

The transfer from owner to owner with Marriott takes months.

Yes, it was this year. It took forever for the contract tto finally transfer, but that was on Marriott. They gave me the option of using their closing company but I asked that we use LT transfer. I think you’re right and they did the initial purchase contract, I’ll have to double check.

I told them I wanted to use LT transfers. They tried to discourage me saying that it would cost more that way but I insisted.
