II Getaways are becoming more and more higher in cost is RedWeek.com any cheaper in offering their getaway vacation to their members?

What redweek.com "getaway"? My browsing of redweek directly is always quite a lot, though it depends on what specifically you're comparing. But I've usually seen them at ~40% higher than getaways I think...

If a getaway is more than $750, or perhaps more like $500, I am simply not going. That means if there is a Hawaii getaway for $1500 and I want to go, I will use another means to get there. I don't see any weeks on Redweek for under $500 for the qualify of resorts we go to (Marriott, Westin & Sheraton). Owners don't usually want to lose a thousand dollars or more vs. their maintenance fees they pay for the week.

The cost of one of our exchanges is about $1000 for a 2BR. So if any getaway is over that, we would just use exchange instead. I generally see Redweek as a rental method for those that don't already own timeshare. I am sure timeshare owners rent off of Redweek, but if you own timeshare there are probably cheaper ways to get to the same resorts. Though I know there are certainly exceptions.

For me, I don't currently have enough weeks to exchange for every trip, but I think the most I've done for a getaway is $1,000. I probably might go up to $1,800 as there's still a premium I'm willing to pay for not committing to MFs forever.

Thank you for your explanation.
