I used hydrogen peroxide and an old toothbrush to cleanup a pair of white tennis shoes. Best thing I've ever found.

If your tennis shoes were any color other than white, the peroxide would have taken the color out. Good for you that you wear white tenies.

When we go to Hawaii, we both take an old pair of tennis shoes and throw them away before we leave to go home.

I though the Red Dirt was stylish??

If it's that much of a problem, maybe you should just park your car beside the road on the way to the aiport, pop open the trunk, and put out a sign saying
"Genuine Red Dirt Clothes For Sale". :D

Who wears shoes when they are in Hawaii....that's why God made flip flops! :D;)

I can't hike in flip flops - actually, I don't wear them at all - they hurt my feet.
