Due to some devastating news on the health front, I am looking to sell all my weeks. Any reccommendations for a good, honest broker and what type of commisions am I looking at ? Any sense callling Vistana first ? Four of the weeks are very desirable and could be resold by them in a heartbeat.

I’d second Syed. Just finished closing a WKORV with him, but still waiting for vistana to complete transfer, so hopefully by end of July. He was prompt, answered all my questions, organized, everything electronic. Everything went smoothly, other than seller was slow, and vistana transfer during pandemic is understandably slower than normal.

Well that was ridiculous! I am sorry that in addition to your devastating personal issues, some here are insensitive enough to PM you and essentially try to take advantage of the situation. Shame on them.

And I am so very sorry that you are going through whatever you are going through. I hope that you can find a broker to help you so that you have one less thing on your plate to deal with.

I am sorry that you have to sell because of health issues. I am also sorry that people are circling like sharks in the water. I like the Tug community, but I find that dealing with them on a business side (selling, renting, etc) they can be some of the worse......cheap or greedy.

We have used Syed at Advantage Vacation in the past with very good results!

you should post your timeshares for sale on RedWeek also. They have a lot of volume that seems to move quickly. I’ve both bought and sold on there.

I have used Redweek in the past to successfully rent out some of my weeks. I was hoping to use a broker so my wife wouldn't need to keep on deaing with Vistana, escrow etc.. for six units.

I'm so sorry to hear about your bad news. +1 for using Syed. Be aware that he is located on Maui, and may not work with some of your resorts.

Regarding low-ball offers: This is, unfortunately, a difficult time to sell a timeshare. Syed will give you accurate estimates, but it probably won't be what you're hoping for. Best of luck with your sales efforts.
