Recission question

My wife and I recently signed up for the Bluegreen package last week, and today we decided to exit via the recission clause.
We sent back all the material with the letter via express shipping (postal employee told her it was the same thing), and a smaller package for the book and bag.
Should we re-send an extra copy of the signature page and letter via certified mail?

Definitely send it by CERTIFIED MAIL. Certified Mail is what the rescission paperwork calls for, so you want to be sure to do it exactly as they tell you. Also, Certified Mail will NOT be delivered UNTIL it is actually signed for (and you need that if they claim that they never received it, i.e. lost in mail). By the way, Express Shipping is NOT the same thing!

Be sure that both you and your wife BOTH sign the rescission paperwork!

Keep in mind that the rescission period is not when they receive it but when you actually mail it. Even if it doesn't show up for two months you are covered if you have it postmarked in the required time frame.

Smart move to rescind. What you paid thousands for can be purchased on the resale market for just pennies on the dollar!

When I printed the recission letter, I had printed 2 copies, and we both signed the copies. I had also scanned all the documentation they gave us.
I then sent it and the copy of the paperwork via certified letter myself.

As for the package we recissioned:
Total purchase was $13.051.00
Biannual 8,000 points and an additional 4,000 bonus points (our sales rep called us a couple of days latter to say she had found a way to give us a one time point bonus).
The annual maintenance fee was $637.00
Estimated annual club dues: $139.00
