Recently I have been hearing radio ads from TimeshareONLY. They are offering a free booklet with "great information about the 10 best secrets to buying and selling your timeshare." "There are thousands of people just waiting to buy your timeshare." If I thought they wouldn't hound me, I would send off for it just out of curiosity. Thought it might be good for a laugh. Has anyone already gotten a copy of it?

Just wondering

Heard The Commercial But Didn't Bite.

I just figured the information availabe on TUG would be more useful, more accurate, more comprehensive, & more on target than what they were offering, so I didn't go for the free offer.

The radio commercial did get my attention, though.

Timeshareonly.com has a huge database of properties for sale. This means lots of people must have listened and responded to their ads. And I'm sure that they also have some sales, but they are one of the "big fee, up front" companies as well as charging the buyer, a big finders fee.

So use great caution dealing with them.

Buyers finders fee is $1,000. They usually hide it from the buyer by getting the seller to pay it. I got my last Muai TS using their service prior to the fee going to 1k. I was looking for another unit and was then informed that there was now a 1k fee that they would try to get the seller to pay. Since I was only offering 2k I knew that was'nt going to fly so I no longer even check their website.

One other thing about Timesharesonly.com

Their ads have lots and lots of errors.
The ads often don't have the right name (all Marriott desert spring 1 are listed under desert spring II).
The ads for Monarch Grand are so full of errors to make them worthless. (Doesn't have right exchange company, wrong info about annual useage, no way to sort by price per point.)

I wouldn't trust any info they might offer to you.

Even the ads for TS to rent are full of problems.

Hey guys, I wasn't interested using their services. I have been successful renting and selling my weeks on my own and have no desire for their services. I was just curious as to what material they were mailing out. Thought it might be worth a laugh, kind of like the Timeshare for Dummies book. Thought we might all have fun tearing their "wonderfield advice" to pieces.
