OK we are not stupid and we know these are Sales Pitches. We are at Tahoe Seasons Resort, South Lake Tahoe. It is a HGV Resort. We are here for 12 days and so we have lots of free time. We did the Session at 8:15am. It was at the Golden Nugget in Stateline. For some reason Owners go to the Golden Nugget and nonowners go to the Lake Tahoe Resort South on the Lake Shore.

Our Sales Person was Doug. He was only about 10 minutes late. He complained about how his House burned down last year in Lahaina. He also complained about having a Headache. By the appearance of eyes, face, and speech I think he was suffering from a bad hangover. After about 10 minutes he asked why we were there? Patti honestly told him for the Gifts. No he said why are you really here? Patti again told him for the Gifts. Then he started complaining about how he was trying to make a living and he hated people like us wasting his time. He got up and walked out a side door. From where I was sitting I could see him walk down the Hallway that lead out of the Golden Nugget.

They made us wait the full 60 minutes before they came and gave us our gifts. While we were waiting we talked to the couple at the next table. Their Sales Person also walked out early.

On Hilton we had a wonderful Surf and Turf Dinner at the Chart House last night which included Wine and Liqour. Today on them we had a wonderful Salmon Lunch at the Saltgrass Steak House at the Golden Nugget. We also got 6 hours of free Parking at the Golden Nugget. So we were able to walk around Stateline and visit various Shops. We still have a $50 Credit Card to use.

We were in Tahoe a few weeks ago but declined to go to a sales meeting. We did end up in the "Activity Center" that apparently is a HGVC office in the Marriott resort area. I had noticed an ad in the window offering buy one get one tickets for a lake cruise. I had dropped my wife off for her to get our discounted tickets only to have her call me and say it was a recruiting office for HGVC. We did end up getting a small discount on a lake cruise (not BOGO) but did not have to attend a sales meeting.
