We've been here for two weeks. I had purchased 3 Groupons last year to use on the trip. Driving back after the last one. We're not boaters but I rented a boat for 4 hours. One of my other owner friends drove it. Yesterday we tried segways from Clematis St. Today we had horseback riding lesson and trail ride out of stable in Delray. All were good and if anyone wants details just PM me.

We did the Segway thing about a year ago. It was really great. Very professional instruction and a nice morning tour. We did the boat thing back in 2002. They used to rent an 18' bowrider with a 125HP motor right from Sailfish Marina. Great fun but now you have to go up to Juno.

Never tried the horseback riding but I think I'll just plop down in a chair and an umbrella and enjoy the sunshine and surf next July.

I would like some more information on the horseback riding in Delray Beach. Also, wouldn't mind hearing what the name of the companies were that you got the Segway and boat rental from. We live in South Florida and Mom comes to use her Ocean Pointe week in May. She loves doing those types of activities...................

Jim, the boat rental we used was on west side of intercostal at the marina used by Peanut Island water taxi. 21' bow rider with an engine good enough to putter 6people upstream at a leisurely speed.

All 3 businesses were a 2person operation. All 3 a pleasant experience with effort to make sure we were satisfied.

Hcarman, I'll send you details when I get settled at next stop. I'm on iPad in car going from OP to Surfwatch. My turn to copilot.:)

Edit: Hcarman, sent you a PM.
