RCI Website

Still not corrected

I hoped RCI would fix their website problems, but I still am unable to get beyond the first page of a search. First page loads fine, but cannot do anything else. Something is trying to load on right side of page and it never loads.

Feeling very frustrated.

Yup, first thing I tried this morning for the same reason, with the same result. I reported this last week via a survey that I bothered to fill out. :wall:
 
Still not working

Anyone else still having problems?????

Yes, still same poblem, and the other day I called RCI web support to report.

The guy I spoke to said they were aware of some of the issue, but not all (and he would report the other non-functionality I was pointing out). He suggested that rather than keyword search which I always use because it is fastest, instead I use the work-around of searching by geography, ie the list on the left, then drill down to get to just my area of search. It takes longer, but at least then I can see all the resorts that I am trying to see.

He couldn't say when a fix would be released.

I had the same issue but found a workaround.

1. Do you search, keywords, saved searched or whatever.
2. On the result page, click a random resort.
3. On the resort page Click: go back to search results

Now you can use the sites normally features. Including additional pages, saving searches and so on.

Yes, that is quicker / fewer steps than the drill-down method suggested to me above. Thanks!
 
Thanks. At least I can now search beyond page 1.

I can't believe this works, and I didn't have to pat my tummy or rub my head at the same time :clap: On the other hand, a proven workaround that many people can use makes it clear that this is a well defined bug in the RCI site and not some random browser or user issue. You would think RCI's programmers could take a hint :wall:

One can always hope that RCI is following tug and benefits from our discoveries :)
