RCI Resort Rating System

I own a week at Sunterra's Powhatan Plantation.
In an email with a Sunterra official I was told that RCI has a new system for rating resort.

""RID specs in so the owners can see where we are at. Please know that it is a little skewed because Powhatan is doing a test right now with RCI since they changed their scoring system, so we may not always be comparing apples to apples""

Can anyone comment on the specifics of this new system? Madge?

RCI is conducting a test to research progressive methods of gathering and reporting member feedback. The test surveys visiting members of 32 resorts in North America that have agreed to participate. Members with valid e-mail addresses randomly receive e-mail test cards in addition to the printed comment cards currently used. Results are captured in a separate system and analyzed by an outside company.

Another component of the test is to analyze the comment card format. The main objective is to identify the best possible format to collect accurate and precise opinions about RCI members’ vacation experiences.

I received something similar to this several months ago from an outside company. Since it came from an unknown source, I was afraid to click on the links and respond. Just wanted to raise that as an issue. Most people are very careful these days for good reason.
