I had combined deposits in RCI in June of 2019 because there had been a special offer to combine weeks and get a two year extension for the price of a one year extension. I had an issue with RCI recently regarding a refund for a cancelled week, and looking back at the RCI statement history, I saw that I paid $184 for the combine fee in June of 2019. I know there's no way I would have combined for that high of a fee, and shame on me for not checking my statement more carefully. I called RCI today about the other matter, and when I mentioned this, they said there was no offer in June of 2109 for any kind of combine special. I was trying to find TUGG threads about the combine special from 2019, and can't find it.

If anyone can find the thread about the combine special that RCI had in 2019, please forward it to me.

Thank you.

The normal price of a 2 year combine is now something like $231 and one year is $154.
Due to covid they are discounting the 1 year combine to $99 (no discount on the 2 year), If you are platinum the normal discount on a 2 year combine would have been around $189. I do vaguely remember a special last year. It was origninally that all combines got 24 months and then they split it into 2 fees so that 1 year was slightly less than what 2 years was previously and they raised the 2 years. The "special" temporary brought it down to what the 2 year was before they raised the fees.

I just did a combine today. I was not offered one year for $99. I am Platinum and with the discount I did the 2 year for $207.

I wasn't offered it online. I had to do it through chat (or calling) and I specifically asked for it.

Just did a combine for the $99 thanks to reading this here. Here's what the chat rep told me:

RCI understands that in times of uncertainty, it can be difficult to formulate plans. Therefore, we are pleased to offer a discounted fee for each expiring deposit, Deposit Credit and/or Combined Deposit you choose to extend at this time:
- 3 Month Extension $49
- 6 Month Extension $69
-12 Month Extension $99

If you have 2 or more deposits, you may Combine your Deposits for a discounted rate at this time:
- 12 Month Combine Deposit $99. If you combine, the combined deposit would expire 7/31/21.

*Please note you will need to extend by phone or chat in order for us to apply the discounted rates. They are not eligible via RCI.com .

I have several deposits that are good until 12/31/2022. If I combine them for 12 months, would that mean the combination expires 7/31/21 and they become separate deposits again, or all of them expire and can't be used at all?

All the points would expire 7/31/21. You could combine whatever is left again if you want. You could also wait to combine or pay more for a 2 year combine ( non discounted).
