It appears RCI has a settlement offer to let depositors know the value of their weeks before depositing them and deposits made more than a year in advance will be offered to RCI points holders for 30 days before they will take them to rent out if they choose.
Also, for all others (less than one year deposits) they will first place them with current ongoing searchers, if they have enough trading power, before using them to rent out if they choose.
Has anyone read this settlement proposal?
What do you think this means for non RCI points (weeks) holders?
Hmmm, will they value all time in points in the future? Or will we still get the old "your week is worth a red 2 bdrm" line and then they still use their own formula to figure it out?
Also I guess we'll all be needing to make ongoing searches if we want anything good. I didn't realize that they had been taking the good off the table all along.
