Hi,

Still new to my time share and I have been reading about the RCI Last Call Option. Can I book a Last Call for a Guest? Also can I book more then one Last call at the same resort if they are avaiable?

Thanks

I think I understand that you want to get a Last Call for someone else? If this is correct, yes, but you have to get a Guest Certificate (about $50) from RCI at the time you book the Last Call.

And if RCI lists the Last Call, you can rent it. 1 week, 2 weeks, more. No problem.

Thank you so I can log on to RCI and buy a last call if I want to give it to someone I need to request a guest certificate is that correct?

What I ment is can I get more then one unit so if I wanted to take another family with me can I buy two bookings if they are available?

i've wondered about the last call as well... are there booking fees attached? we're not using points so i would think no... but it is rci/wyndham, so i would think yes...

That is correct. You just get the guest cert for the other family member.

Nope. It's a straight-up rental. Occasionally there will be a 'resort fee' or parking or wi-fi or some other junk fee charged at check-in but nothing extra at booking.

I usually call 10 days-to 2 weeks ahead of check in to ask for a better unit (view, ground floor, whatever). Don't know if it does any good but I do it anyway.

If you will be with the other couple when checking-in, you may not need a guest certificate. Call the resort and ask their policy. You can always get a guest certificate from RCI after you book the last call.

As far as I know, there is no limit on how many last calls one can book other than 52 weeks in a year, one's budget and vacation time!

However, cannot be rented nor bartered, but if all in the family who knows?

I do know Wyndham cancels overlapping reservations with no GC, but would have to check with RCI on their policy. Really don't think resort is involved. GCs are very profitable item for RCI!

I did a couple years ago and after conflicting double talk from VC decided a GC was not a big deal considering bargain on units! Plus you could get sick, etc. and have to cancel!

Definitely call resort a week out and ask for units next to each other or at least in same building!

Activity, WIFI, parking, recreation, taxes, safe deposit box, locker, etc. fees are resort unique and require a call to resort.!

Does anyone know when new inventory is added to the last call? Is it monthly around mid month (just an example)?
