I have back to back summer weeks booked in Hawaii at Marriott in II and Hilton with RCI.
Of course I waited too long to book airfare and its no longer affordable for a family vacation.

What are the cancellation policies for RCI and II..
The II week is just less than 60 days and the RCI week is a little over 60 days.

Did I miss the window of getting anything out of it?

Cancelling the II week will give you a Cancellation Replacement week good for one year and will have to be booked 59 days or before the date of check in.

If you are just inside the 60 day period you may be able to get II to give you a replacement week without the flexchange restrictions. Ask nicely and if they so no try calling II customer service try it with them.

I believe RCI will return a portion of your exchange fee if you're over 60 days out. You'll get back your deposit to try again, but I don't know if the week will have decent trade power or not. IF you know you're planning to cancel, I'd do it before 61 days ahead of travel.

Ouch! Sorry to hear of your change in plans. :(
