Does HGVC Bay Club have mandatory resort fee like other HGVC for RCI trades? On RCI it only shows taxes and an optional $85/day or $150/3 day pass to Hilton pools. wondering if there's no fee because it's an affialiate. If not fee, then I don't mind paying $150 for pools.

I don't believe there is a resort fee for Bay Club. At least there wasn't the times we stayed there. And if it doesn't show a fee in RCI, then there wouldn't be one. They do show the fee for Kingsland.

thanks. Makes Bay Club a decent RCI trade then.
Also, does anyone know if you can use lagoon/beach for free if at Bay Club? I heard that fee was for pools?

I've never paid the fee to use the pools at the Hilton. We did stay at the Hilton for one night when we had a gap between timeshares. We got a wristband that allowed us to get pool towels and use the pools and slides. The "beach" on the Hilton property isn't really much of a beach. If you want to go to a beach locally there is A Bay. If you want to go to a nicer beach drive north to Hapuna Beach.

Thanks We’ve stayed at the Hilton and bay club before. We like snorkeling in the lagoon. It’s been 15 years. Don’t know if they even allow that anymore.

We've stayed at Bay Club and Kohala Suites. I prefer Bay Club because the units are larger. As I said we also spent one night at the Hilton. My daughters were kind of bored of the pools in a couple of hours.

We take our own beach towels and wander down to the lagoon from BC, you probably won’t get hassled at the lagoon beach as long as you don’t bring the BC green pool towels, a dead giveaway.

There are much better snorkel spots nearby if you don’t mind driving out of the resort.

I wondered how good the snorkeling would be in a man made lagoon.

Thanks. We go to the cove at Hapuna beach etc. for "real" snorkeling. But the lagoon was pretty fun years ago with our kids. I'm putting Bay Club back on my list.
