Hi - I am trying to figure out if these different Grand Luxxe resort codes in RCI will actually lead to a different room. They all have different exchange values and different room availability.

Grand Luxxe Spa at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta #DI52
Grand Luxxe Villa at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta #DI51
Grand Luxxe Suite at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta #DI46
Grand Luxxe Suite at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta - 4 Nights #DF25
Grand Luxxe at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta #RB71
Grand Luxxe at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta - 5 Nights #DH47

I have tried to correlate them all to the room types on the Vidanta site, but I cannot.

https://www.vidanta.com/web/nuevo-vallarta/grand-luxxe-suites

Last year we booked a 1BR via #RB71 and we ended up in the "Grand Luxxe One Bedroom Villa" https://www.vidanta.com/web/nuevo-vallarta/grand-luxxe-one-bedroom-villa in Building 3, on the 8th or 9th floor looking at the river.

Thank you for any insight.

The codes correlate to different room types, but they will sometimes randomly upgrade you.

Grand Luxxe xxx at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta #DI46. - 151-152

Grand Luxxe at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta #RB71
Thank you for any insight.

FYI - The less than 7 day stays have the same resort fee as a full week / so the per day cost is higher .

RB71 - can be booked by any RCI member - including Vidanta / Mayan owners .

I believe D146-151-152 : CANNOT be booked by Vidanta owners and require RCI platinum membership.

There is a significant amount of existing information regarding Grand Luxxe suite
formats & types in prior Mexican Forum threads that you may wish to search .

Thank you. We don't plan to do the 5 night or 4 night. I am a platinum member in RCI, so the 146, 151 & 152 say "Priority Access Inventory" but I am trying to figure out if "Spa" is really a spa room in the spa tower.

Then I cannot figure out the Villa vs. Suite and if they get me a different room or building.

Grand Luxxe Spa at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta #DI52
Grand Luxxe Villa at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta #DI51
Grand Luxxe Suite at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta #DI46

The Grand Luxxe Suites are ~2200 sq ft units located in the middle of most buildings, while the Villas are ~3100 sq ft units on the corners of most buildings. The spa units are all in tower 4 in the upper floors with the 2 BR spas having the same location and footprint as the suites while the 3 BR spas have the corners and the same footprint as the villas. Spa gets you a spa unit in the spa tower.

Thank you - this helped me match them up to the rooms on the Grand Luxxe site. I had searched the forums but didn't see specifically what I was looking for.

Are there any RCI units that get you in the Presidential Suite or Presidential Villas, or is that pure luck and/or agreeing to a timeshare presentation? And I am assuming those are in the Punta Tower?

The presidential ones are in Punta. I’ve heard of people getting those when exchanging into villas, but I don’t believe they actually deposit them with exchange companies. I guess an owner could, but haven’t seen a separate code for them anywhere.
