RCI Extra Vacation - Guest Certificate

We have rented a week at a resort from another TUGger. Friends of ours would like to travel to the same resort at the same time we are there.

There's a one bedroom available through RCI Extra Vacations so we're thinking of buying that for our friends. Since we will be there checking in and checking out at the same time, do we need to buy a guest certificate for our friends?

If you are physically present at check in, you do not need a gift certificate for your friends. We have done this several times.

Have a great time.
