I have an on-going request for Santa Fe which I paid for when I made the request. Today, I booked a week in NY on-line using another deposit. The website said I had a $189 balance and it used that for the NY confirmation. Have I lost the on-going request? The website showed it was still there, but I know I owe them for the request.

It all works out. When you pay the fee on the ongoing request, it saves it as a credit in your account. If you make further ongoing requests or an actual exchange, it uses that credit. If you deposit 6 weeks and set up ongoing searches for all of them, you'll only be charged once. Then, when you make your first exchange, it'll use that deposit. Then, as the other 5 match and exchange, you'll pay for each of them.
