RCI (?) event Tempe, AZ Jan. 12

I have been invited to attend an RCI related event (free lunch at Ruby Tuesdays) in Tempe, AZ tomorrow Jan. 12. The call came from Gray Terry 770-222-7927. Does anyone know who or what this is about?

the phone appears to come out of georgia. more than likely its a scam of some sort. RCI does not put on events, that i have heard of, like this. But hey if you are in the area and want a free lunch go check it out.. remember to leave all credit cards, check books, debit cards etc at home.. take 30 bucks cash for food to be safe.. Like Nancy Regan used to tell us.. JUST SAY NO.. 20 times if it takes it..

Tempe event - Sunset Harbor Resort

It turned out to be a presentation for Sunset Harbor Resort in Willis, TX. They are offering (for $10K) an opportunity to buy into another point system involving Points Rental Liquidators & Vacation Services Int. (Our II points would be converted to RCI points.) You can bank your unused points for a guaranteed payoff, i.e., the first year we would be paid $10K if we banked 150,000 points, which would mean our initial outlay would be refunded. It sounded too good to be true (very tempting nonetheless). I did notice that there was a fee of $498 on one of the papers that we were shown, but this fee was not mentioned verbally.
