RCI? DAE? Got this email today.

Apparently, DAE is part of RCI now.

I haven't left yet! Membership expires next year, but I'm currently still a member.

Anyone else get this email? I haven't delved into it yet. I'm really not interested at this point. Just curiosity is peaked that they think I'm already gone.

I didn't get the email, but I thought I recalled reading something about this in the past. It appears that RCI acquired them last year.

I was logged in last night sort of looked like a ghost town on DAE

I was looking in May and found there were 0 weeks available from mid may to oct 1 in the whole of the USA. I never tried an OGS so cannot comment on that possibility. I had used them a couple of times and found ok trades. Now I would never deposit.

I bought two prepaid certificates for DAE weeks and ended up not using one and getting a week I really didn't care about with the other because there was so little to choose from prior to the deadline. I remember when Donita ran DAE and how helpful she was. Now it seems like not only is there little to choose from but the people there seem unsure of what they are doing. At least the membership is free (for now).
