I have a RCI weeks account and hope to soon acquire a RCI points resort. I understand that RCI will open up a points account for me and then I get a "free" weeks accounts because I am a RCI week resort owner. In my RCI Weeks account, I have paid for membership through 2010. When RCI opens up my points account, will that membership now be through 2010? In other words, do I get full credit for what I already paid for as far as membership?

Thanks. Tim

RCI accounts -- adding Points resort to Weeks membership

I too am curious about this. I have had an RCI weeks resort for several years -- and my RCI membership is paid for it through 2011. Just this past December 5th/6th I purchased at an RCI Points resort and was told the same thing. I have not yet received confirmation of the RCI Points resort membership with RCI -- figured I'd give them until the end of February and then start asking questions. And here I see someone's done part of it already for me!

tim,

You may request a prorated refund of your unused RCI Weeks subscription fees. Or, you can simply have the monies transferred to the new Points account, and your credit will be applied to your annual dues each year. The actual years are not transferable from Weeks to Points.
