I have seen a lot of comment about higher and higher usage rates at rci is it really any wonder when you look at the the corporate greed at play. These 5 men make over 10 million a year (THIS IS NOT REALLY ACCURATE THESE NUMBERS ARE FROM 2010, ITS LIKELY 20% HIGHER TODAY) and this does not include all the insider sales of stock that are acquired for little or nothing.
I don't really care how many mba's Mr. Holmes has is he really worth 2000+ an hour? (based on a 40 hour work week).

The Million Dollar Suites Per Year Per Week Per Hour

Mr. Stephen P. Holmes 4500000.00 86538.46 2163.46

Mr. Thomas G. Conforti 1650000.00 31730.77 793.27

Mr. Franz S. Hanning 1650000.00 31730.77 793.27

Mr. Geoffrey A. Ballotti 1460000.00 28076.92 701.92

Mr. Eric A. Danziger 1260000.00 24230.77 605.77

I am not sure how these salaries differ from any top executives in charge of any large corporation.

When I see numbers like this and realize HOW the income is earned, I start to see the logic of a big flat tax on the executives.

Remember, they are skimming deposits so as to take a $209 exchange fee and increase it to $299/$399/$499, etc ==> while the person who deposited the week has way fewer vacation choices after paying THEIR $750+ MFs.

What should happen is, IF they rent MY week that I deposited, I should get 50% of the GROSS rental amount as a credit on MY RCI account good for 5 years. Bet that would end the cheap rental game --- or at least allow me to vacation at a cheap rental.

Very few exectives work 40hr weeks, most live their jobs....Now does that justify them making 100x what any other worker makes? Absolutely not, but you can't really break their salaries down per hour...

Remember, an RCI member is paying $199 to exchange, in addition to the yearly membership fee of $89, plus, insuring it for another $89.00! Almost $400.00 to exchange a week that they have paid a $750 MF on and maybe paid big bucks for years ago from a developer or such! Outrageous! And then - there is the hassle of trying to find a suitable exchange! Who needs it! Go where you own and rent if you want to go elsewhere. You'll make out better in the end and get to vacation an extra week!:annoyed:

Actually the people listed are executives of Wyndham Worldwide which includes the hotels, exchange, and vacation ownership groups. RCI is part of the exchange group. The salaries don't seem outlandish for a big corporation. It does seem like the OP has an ax to grind making unsubstantiated claims.

I would have thought executives at this company would be earning more than the listed amounts. Of course, this doesn't include their benefits, bonuses, etc.
