My husband and I have been considering purchasing a deeded RV resort lot (not timeshare) in Cleveland, GA. There are a few resorts in the area - some allow owners to live fulltime and some allow owners to stay up to 270 days per year.
We came across R Ranch in the Mountains but have some questions about their program. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
1. I saw on their Facebook page that RV lots were being auctioned. Does this mean that in addition to the membership fee and the annual fee, that you have to purchase an RV lot? I also read that you can keep you RV on the same parcel or you can store in at R Ranch. Perhaps the auctioned lots are for those who what to keep their RV on the same lot and not move it back and forth to the storage area.
2. This seems to be a wonderful place for families with children. I love children, however, we are empty nesters and do not have grandchildren. In addition to family and kids social events, are there adult only events.
3. Pros/cons, etc.
4. We are planning on retireing in a few years to Florida. Is R Ranch a life long commitment? Do you have to sell your membership?
5. Lastly, pros & cons.
Thanks you so very much!
