I am interested in buying multiple sets of timeshare points of a timeshare system.
My desire is to ultimately pool all of the points together to be able to use a 2 or 3 BR timeshare for at least 1 week and eventually 2 weeks a year.
Can points from multiple purchases be pooled together?
Can the renewal of multiple sets of points be consolidated to one date per year, such as March 1st?

How do I calculate the cost of maintenance per timeshare point?
If I were to purchase points from wyndam for example, that were deeded in florida and then some other points deeded in Tennessee, would the cost of the maintenance be the same on a per point basis?
My fear is that even if I pay for various sets of points in full, that the maintenance costs will add up to something unreasonably expensive.
Can I pay the maintenance for all of the points to the parent timeshare company so that I do not have to deal with each individual resort?

I have never heard of some of these cities or towns that are advertised for sale. Do points have more or less value based on where the points were deeded?

By buying points I assume that points are points and it should not matter where they came from.
I just want to pool my points together to get 2 weeks of vacation a year. Not always back to back at the same place.

I just came back from a resort that apparently has a rule that you can only visit that same resort every 4 years.
I was traveling as the guest of a owner of timeshare points, so I dont have all of the details. I know that he exchanged points with RCI to get that week, and does not own at that specific resort.
How do I make sure that the points I have, do not have that restriction?

Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you.

Every resort has their own points system, with different rules - are you asking about Wyndham?

I guess I really dont know what point system to buy into.
I dont think I want to be a member of multiple timeshare systems.

You need to take a couple of steps back, and decide what resort system you are interested in. Otherwise, your question is far too broad to answer.

I suggest you narrow it down by asking these "what to buy" questions:
