Thinking of booking in Cancun. I have questions about children's activities. What is available for 12 year olds? Do they have a game room with xbox or wii? Are there free activities for 8 and 4 year olds? Is there beach volleyball?
Also, is transportation provided to and from the airport? Can you charge everything to your room key?
Any help would be appreciated.

for 12 year olds: beach, pool, virgin margaritas.

I believe they have a game room.

Yes you can charge to your room.

Transportation not included, check out:

If worried about entertaining kids, set up some excursions the whole family can enjoy like Xcaret or Xel Ha. The link I posted above also has great rates on tours.

activities for kids

hi, we just returned from WLR yesterday. Can't say that its the most kid friendly resort we have been to. The games room seemed sparse.
However, the pool is FABULOUS and so is the beach. There is only 1 water slide and not that exciting. The tours you mention are definately something I would recommend. We have not been yet to the tours since our kids are still quite small but I would go when they are a little older.

There is beach volleyball, but I played two days and don't remember any kids getting in the game. However, we were there during the school year, and there weren't many kids at all. The staff is always trying to organize games, like soccer and volleyball, but with limited success, mostly due to the extreme difficulty of getting off a lounge chair under a palapa after a few Coronas.
