Resorts Owned
HIVC Holiday Hills, Branson MO, formerly Silverleaf Resorts
Hello All,

New to the group here. I've co-owned a single unit in Silverleaf Resorts (now Holiday Inn Vacation Club) for about 4 - 5 years, with my aunt. A couple of years back we upgraded to a Presidential Unit in Branson, MO. It is a 2 bedroom lock out/off and it is weeks. We have not converted to points. We've just started getting involved with RCI for trading and I had a question about the TPU's assignments. It shows up in my RCI account as 3 entries for a useable deposit. One entry is for 14 TPU points for the A lockout unit. One entry is for 12 TPU points for the B lockout unit and the third entry is 17 TPU points for the AB combined unit. Do I have unit that gives me 17 TPUs, 26 TPUs (12 TPU & 14 TPU added together) or 43 TPUs (17 TPU + 14 TPU + 12 TPU)? I've deposited the 12 & the 14 TPUs, but the 17 TPU is still showing up for deposit as well. I'm not sure if this is a mistake or if I'm entitle to deposit the 17 TPU AB unit as well?

Dawn

Forgot to mention, it is an annual fixed week (week 41), if this info makes a difference.

You have a unit that will either give you a single deposit worth 17, or two deposits worth 14 and 12. You can later combine (for a fee) those two to get a total of 26, good for one year from the date of combination.

You can't have both---that would mean depositing the unit twice. RCI's system probably isn't savvy enough to figure this out.

Just out of curiosity, any idea why don't they just give the lockout a single deposit of 26? :ponder:

I have a lockout unit. It shows up the same way. You either deposit the unit as a whole or. As 2 smaller units. Depending on how you travel. It could benefit you by 2 smaller units which gives you 2 weeks to use or 2 rooms at different places (example of island hoping ) instead of 1 large unit for 1 week
