100% resale!!
I always book point discounted rooms with my resale membership. On Average I get a 25% discount living in florida and travelling last minute. I only books studios and one bedrooms to save on housekeeping. I'll book a 3 bedroom at Reunion whenever I can, but its killer on housekeeping credits. I'm at sea gardens right now in a studio deluxe right on the ocean. It was a great bargain for being right on the ocean. With my grand desert MF I paid 50 a night for it (9,000 points). It still has a kitchen, couch, table, jetted tub and washer and dryer. The bed is a queen, but if you lay in the opposite direction of the bed, you can still watch the ocean from it.

That's nice. Can you book in advance and ask them to give you a discount if the dates are on discount?

What are general trends on discount? Summer in Florida? Winter in northern areas? Is it applicable on weekends?

Walk south a few blocks for breakfast. One of my favorites a little pricey but worth it and always very good. https://g.page/NikkisGreekKitchen?share

You can book ahead of time and if it's still available and has a discount, you can cancel, forfeiting your $19 reservation transaction, then book another unit. You have to make sure your room is still available when its discounted, you cant rebook the same exact unit. It takes a while for it to go back into the system.

What cities/resorts and months are usually available for this? I have 336k annual and 154k EOYE points coming in and would love to spend 2 to 3 weeks on the beach or in Orlando yearly.

I would do sun-fri (5 nights) Reunion, then fri to sun, (9 nights) in Daytona, then sun to fri (5 nights) at Bonnet Creek if your want to stretch it to 3 weeks. I suggest a longer time at Daytona because it's the cheapest resort. You could also do Clearwater, but that's hella expensive. Sept or Nov is when it's super cheap. Daytona is an hour from Orlando. Pompano beach has the best summer discounts if you can travel the 2 weeks of june it's considered "high season".

This summer I did a 1 bedroom deluxe sun to fri at bonnet creek for 48,000 (35% off), Tues to fri at sea gardens in an ocean view studio deluxe for 27,000 ( 25% off) and sun to fri at Reunion in a 3 bedroom deluxe for 119,000 (30% off). Reunion was 35% off but I cancelled it when I saw pools were closed then rebooked when they opened them all up again. They lowered the discount. Right now 10 out of the 11 Reunion pools are open and i check in on Sunday.

If you want to visit Orlando this year, Reunion is the better choice. Corona doesnt transmit in chlorinated water easily. You can only catch it in water if you're near another person. Well you can technically catch it, but odds are really low with physical distancing. Wyndham has been really ridiculous about pool closures. The more they have open, the less contact people will have with each other, so I dont see their logic on only having 1 pool open. Currently at Bonnet Creek 1 out of the 4 pools they have are open with no plan to change it.

This is my view in the Sea Gardens Studio. Its such a great bargain for 9,000 points a night. One of the pics was taken from me laying backwards on the bed.
