Hi all. So I bought my HGVC via resale years ago. More recently Hilton has gotten a bit more insistent on me going to their 'owners update' when I go. When I go to Vegas, it is normally no big as I get free eats for relatively little time.

That said, I am going with a friend who wants to maybe do a presentation to grab the perks 'reward'. So my question, is there any way to get one for him? Do I simply tell them when I arrive? Do I call in advance?

I can't speak for Hilton, but with Marriott, when I break friends with me, they always get their own separate presentation that gifts them whatever the gift is.

I make sure they clearly understand to not buy, but otherwise has worked well.

Good luck and let us know if it worked?

Best,

Greg

You will likely need to contact the sales office to get him "approved." They used to require that spouses attend.

But whatever, tell your friend keep asking: "How come the M-F's are so high... Is that because the Boards buy themselves I-Pads at Kim Krieger's urging? (Its true)... BTW, I've heard that the Revolution reservation system is a mess... Any plans to replace it?"

Also apologize to him later by offering to buy him a drink at a nearby watering hole.

I have one 2 of these. Received $100 voucher for food. I do recommend if you are the Bly be on the deed, go alone. I took my girlfriend to the 2 I attended, not again. The start talking to them when u put up the wall. Just my advice

:hysterical:

Sometimes you can just walk in "off the street" and they will gladly give you a presentation. Especially if they aren't too busy. Before we bought our resale that is what we did. We knew nothing of HGVC and just walked in at the Grand Waikikian and said "whats the deal?".

Many places such as Charleston, SC or as Vegas. They literally grab you off
the street. They call it "Body Snatching".
The people who grab you get a commission for each body. They do not care if you buy or not. Now the salesmen..different story. they can get quite rude because you are wasting their time. Such a dirty business.
