Does anyone have any more information on the Hyatt? Or the Aspen Mountain Residences as it is now called?

I have an Ikon Pass and want to see if I can use some days there this coming season or next.

I don’t know how available units are in the winter. It appears studio units are available for January and February 2025. I prefer a one or two bedroom unit.

I don’t have HPP just regular HRC points.

I am trying to do my homework in advance. Thanks.

Has the issue with booking Aspen online been fixed?

I'm looking at booking or setting up a wait list.

The studios look like they are the same small studios like at the Hyatt Northstar. Is that right?

If anyone has more information about this property I would love to hear. I know they charge a resort fee and possibly parking too.
The studios at Aspen are basically hotel rooms. The ones that we have been in were fairly small, but had a microwave and a small refrigerator. The resort fee and parking are each $40 per day ($80 total per day). However, sometimes you can find nearby street parking.

Thanks. I thought the studios were small. I appreciate the information.
I know Aspen isn’t cheap but I want to go before I get too old and while I have a full Ikon Pass.

I put in a waitlist request. I will have to be patient and see what I can get. Obviously I prefer a one or two bedroom.

Both my wife and I have suffered altitude sickness in Aspen, but only at the higher mountain altitudes. The portable O2 cans are a big help. You can also ask your MD to get you some Diamox in advance if you anticipate problems. Unfortunately the only real way to resolve the condition is to go to a lower altitude or to adjust over time (which doesn't work well for visitors).
I have found the best way for me is to go up to Denver for a day or two, then up into the mountains. It takes some extra time, but Denver is nice, and it makes the rest of the trip more enjoyable.
