Question about II deposits on unit I'm selling

I am interested in selling one of my Marriott timeshares, but I currently have several past years' units still in my account at II. May I still keep my pending requests in at II for past years' units at the resort even though I would like to sell the unit for 2009 usage? Also, if I deposit the 2009 week into II, I will receive an AC. Can I keep the AC, and give the buyer the deposited 2009 unit that would be in II?

Thanks for your help.

You can keep the deposited weeks as long as you keep your II account.

As for depositing the 2009 week, in a sale anything is possible. You could deposit the 2009 week, keep the AC and transfer a replacement week to the new owner. If I was in the market for a TS, a week deposited into already deposited into II would have less value to me, unless they were going to transfer their II account to me. II will not transfer the actual week from your account to a new account. They will take the week out of your account and give the other person a "AC" that is different than most AC's that are discussed here, it will have different trading power than your original week, but the expiration date will be the same. II will not transfer the AC that you get for depositing the 2009 week.

If I wanted to buy a TS week at your resort, I would devalue your week based on the following; I will need to join II and pay an exchange fee to use the 2009 week that I am paying for. Also if I knew that the week qualified for an AC I would expect usage of that AC or compensation for it.

Also, if I am already an II member, I would have to pay II to extend my membership for at least a year to get that replacement week transferred to my account.
