I'm an existing owner, with 5 contracts (both developer and resale) and I just purchased another resale CWA contract. Title & Contracts department put the new contract under a new membership numberfor security reasons, and then telling me that I have to pay an additional fee to combine these two membership numbers into one membership number. They just set this up, taking over 5 months to transfer the CWA contract to me. Does this sound familiar to anyone. Customer Service lady said "six to nine weeks" to complete the transfer!

I personally have not heard of this (for "security reasons"??) and if it happened to me it would definitely send me on a quest to get them to waive that fee, and maybe expedite that process.

That's BS, whatever title company did your transfer should have asked you for your Wyndham Member number and insisted that the contract be added to your existing membership. Either Wyndham messed up or the title company did, either way you should not be out of pocket any additional money.
