For future travelers ... F.I.S.H. has good food (especially the hamburgesa de camarón), but Casita Maria just a little over (it's back next to Mary's) is REALLY good. La Marea, overlooking the light house (El Faro) has the best view in town. Food and service can be spotty, but the view is worth dealing with it. They also just put a THIRD set of letters (the ones that spell Mazatlán) next to the restaurant, so it makes a nice photo op spot too. If you're in Centro, Hector's Bistro and Nao Kitchen Bar are both great choices. Nao Kitchen Bar is the only place I recommend in Mazatlán for Asian inspired food. If you want to splurge a bit, Casa 46 would be a good place to do it. Out of the beaten path, and only Spanish spoken, is Marisqueria El Changuirongo. Almost any cab/pulmonia driver will know where it is. They're open during the day, so make the visit at lunch time.
