We have just booked our first exchange there, Early October 2019. 2 bedroom, 2 bath

Thinking that we may not take the all inclusive, but cannot find any advertised price for AI. Can anyone advise what the pricing may be? My sister is going to join us, and her budget is tighter than ours. Not decided yet.

Any advice that will make our stay successful would also be greatly appreciated.

Once owned these: FirstFairway@Walden X 2; Lawai Beach; ManhattanClub; PuebloBonitoRose; 4 South Africa--now timeshare-free
The pricing seems to change from one agent to another so you could call and ask what they're offering. From the website: 1-800-990-8250. Everyone staying in the room has to get AI so you may want to discuss it with your sister once you find out the price. You can take it for 3 or 4 days or all 7 days. I believe it still includes wi-fi and transportation from the airport. There is a discount for seniors and I think the age is 55 and over.

If you like to drink and you intend to spend most of your time at the resort, it's probably worth it. There is a free shuttle from Sunset Beach to the other two PB properties so it's possible to take the shuttle and walk into town to eat at the many restaurants available. You have to make a reservation with the concierge or bell captain and get a ticket for the shuttle both going to town or coming back from the Rose so you need to plan ahead.

If you don't do the AI, just take a taxi from the resort to the large grocery store and load up on whatever groceries you'll need. With a two bedroom unit you should have a full-size refrigerator with a freezer and ample storage room for your groceries. There's no oven, though, just four burners and a microwave so plan accordingly.

We've done the all-inclusive sometimes and other times not, and we had a great time either way. Hope you enjoy your stay.

You should call to find out exactly what the AI includes and the price for different plans. It might be only the buffets and pool service that are included. I am not a fan of AI.

AI generally costs 100-150 per person per day. We probably drink more than we should on vacation in Cabo. We eat out every dinner and at least breakfast or lunch each day at a full service restaurant. Cabo has great inexpensive gourmet food. We have never spent close to this much per person per day, and have the choice to go wherever we want, not stuck at the same resort restaurants.

With non drinking teens, it's an even worse deal as they often pay full price and can't/don't drink. If you drink a lot buy some bottles and serve yourself in your favorite insulated covered beverage container (cheap booze at Wal Mart.)

We were just at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach in January. Rest assured that now that you have a reservation you will be receiving multiple emails with prices for the all inclusive, airport transportation, wifi and spa services.

The all inclusive offer to us was around $90 dollars per day. I thought that was fairly attractive, but since we were there with another couple celebrating a birthday, we knew we would
be going off site for some dinners so it didn't make as much sense as dinners are a significant part of the value proposition. They do have a multitude of restaurants with only a couple that require additional fees beyond the all inclusive so there is not a shortage of places to use the all inclusive.

We did talk to an owner while there who said that he often can negotiate a further reduction in pricing when making his all inclusive purchase. The emails you will receive will give you
a phone number and name of a Pueblo Bonito representative to make your reservations.

We did call to purchase massages and wifi service which are discounted if you purchase ahead.

While we prefer the Pueblo Bonito properties in town, this is a nice property and the employees are very friendly. Enjoy your vacation!

as others have said just call. will take 2-3 minutes. phone reps have always been nice to us.

you will love staying there. We do hence why we "own". Going in 2 weeks and counting down the days till some R&R comes our way.

for frame of reference:
as owners our most recent rates were as follows. may be different as exchange.
  • 79 deluxe (per person / day)
  • 86 platinum (includes top shelf drinks, shuttle ride to airport, and discount on cover charge restaurants).(per person / day)

above rates included 2 free kids (works for our family).

with a family of 5 we typically cover our cost with pool side drinks, room service, breakfast buffet, and snacks.

call and let us know. it changes daily but hovers up and down in a pretty narrow band of cost.
