In II, only the size of the unit matters. There is a chart that shows different deposits required for different seasons but it is a waste of points to do more than the minimum.

studio/1 br 74000 (miss old 28k studio )
2br 109000
3br 161000

These values went up but it sounds like it is still less costly to trade in II.
Lots of Marriotts available in overbuilt areas also.
Exchange fee online is $149 and opportunities for bonus trades.
since the new Wyndham resorts costs a boatload of points, I am glad I can trade in II.:cheer:

It is very sad that the 28K deposits are gone, use to get awesome trades with II 2 br everywhere I traded except DVC at the time for those 28K. One thing I have learned about timesharing, things always change and you cannot make long term decisions based upon todays information. The old saying "Wyndham holds the handle and we hold the blade" so as owners we always get cut.

Owning a timeshare is for the here and now, most people purchased on a whim, and the companies operate under that assumption. Sell, sell, sell, and worry about the rest later. It is written in this directory (Contract), but we can change anything we want when we want.
