* 10/31/25 is the deadline for Chairman's Club members (this is your Marriott timeshare owner status.)

* We are already past the deadlines for other owners.

* Yesterday, I was trying to bank some SO's and the online function wasn't working, but today it worked, so don't wait until the last minute, because you might hit a glitch!

* You can and should bank online: When you log into the Villa finder you will see a small link near the top of the page. Just click it and it will walk you through the process - easy-peasy.

• The system will automatically send you a receipt - but I would take a screenshot anyway.

It's also the (Chairman's Club) deadline for electing Club Points for 2026, which may be a good option for some.

2025 was the first year I elected Club Points and they were a great use of one of my weeks in Maui. I got quite a lot of club points. I even ended up using some points for a week in a 1BR back at my home resort because it was much cheaper than using Staroptions. In the end, I didn't use the studio side of my lock off, and instead stayed 10 days at the Sheraton Steamboat in a 2BR and 6 days in a 1BR at KOR-N, plus I have reservations at the Marriott Marbella Beach Resort next year for an additional 10 days in a 2BR. Not a bad use of Club Points!

Part of the benefit was making reservations in Steamboat and Maui at less than 60 days of arrival with a 30% discount on the number of points needed.

I have elected Abound for one of our two WKV (1Bd, 81K SO) weeks a few times now, and just did again for our 2026 usage prior to deadline. I have also elected Abound for our WKORV OFD (year after fire) and used CP to stay in a 1Bd at MVC Waikoloa (BI) - reserving 13 months ahead as MVC Chairman. The value was about $0.45/CP ($225/nt), and nice change of pace, but prefer Maui.

As MVC Chairman (from owning M resorts pre-MVC), Abound can be pretty good value for stays at <60 days with a 30% discount.
For 2026, with our WKV week getting 2600 CP - this is around $0.53/CP. Since I travel to Las Vegas about 5x per year (4-nite weekday stays at <60 days) - stays at Grand Chateau in a studio comes out to about $63/nt. Also, with family in San Diego, stays in the King suite at the SD MVC was around $127/nt (not bad).
