Does anyone know the family relationship requirements on transfer deed and maintain VIP status, e.g. what degree of relations count (nephew, cousin, son-in-law, grandchildren), does just one person have to be related, and what documentation of relationship is required?

Thanks for your assistance.

Thanks for the insight. How would someone document "immediate relative" status?

Probably something like a birth certificate - I would contact the Wyndham title office and ask them what documentation they want, BEFORE I start the transfer.

Hey, if any of my parents/siblings/whatever are on this forum & would like to "transfer" me their VIP points, let me know.

Can you add a child to one contract in your membership or do you have to place the child under the membership?

I dont believe that you can add a name to a membership without adding a name to a deed (contract) within that member number... So either buy a new contract and put the names you want on the deed, and add that contract to your member number.. The new name ends up on the account

or sell one of your existing contracts to yourself and that new person. record the deed, and send it to Wyndham The new name will end up on the contract

either way, you will pay someone to prepare the new deed (unless its cwa or you do it yourself) and you will pay to record the new deed (unless its CWA) and you will pay Wyndham their $299 fee.
