I am looking at a studio at Eastwood at Provincetown. No kids will stay just two adults. It is a late June week and my questions is what is the resort and studio units like and if I can't use it in any given year, what are the exchange/rental prospects. Thanks!

Our kids finish the school year either after the second or third week of June (in Mass), depending on snow days they need to make up. I would think that the last week of June would trade pretty well.

Jim,
I own at Eastwood. The studios are miserably small- sufficient for no more than 2 people. A June week? The prospect of renting it out is poor if it's any week after 22 that's before 26 and here's why: 21 & 22 alternate at being the unofficial beginning of summer with Memorial Day weekend. 23,24,25 just swing by and the town awaits its next influx of business: the Independence Day crowds which concur with week 26 (and alternate with 27 in some years). As far as trading is concerned, all the weeks mentioned (21 and after) are traded as RED weeks. Inpractice, only the red weeks beginning with week 26 are of a "deep red" color. The weeks from 23 to 25 are more "pinkish". Finally,I'll add an interesting little known factoid to the discussion on June weeks at Eastwood: Week 24 is one of two weeks (along with 37) that were sold both as a fixed week for most units, AND as a floating week for mid-season time owners (formerly known at Eastwood as "mid-season" or "white time"). Therefore, the purchase of a week 24 in a fraction of the units does not guarantee its owner a fixed interval of use in week 24 every year.
Hope this is helpful.
Brian

Thanks

I figured as much so I did not buy the week!
