Property Tax Question

I purchased a resale in 2006 for $13,000. My property tax bill is based on this amount. I noticed that the resales for my Gold Unit is selling for about $4,000?
Just wondering if I can get my property tax bill reduced. I know if does not seem like much, but every year, I watch it go up little by little, and the value decreases.

Thanks,

In many cases, the property taxes are paid by the timeshare as a whole and you don't have a lot of individual control over them (Marriott/the HOA, etc would have to appeal). However, if your TS is in CA, you can appeal your property tax rate to your local tax assessor.

Here is another thread you might find helpful:

Thank you for responding. The thread was helpful. I do reside in Ca. I have a hearing scheduled and wonder if it is worth trying to appeal. I have to submit evidence. All I have are the real estate listings. Anything else you have to share would be very helpful.
