Hi,
I have recently bought some FF points @ Ocean Ridge (Resale, thanks to TUGS :cheer: )
I have it set up that my monthly FF mainitenance cost being charged to my credit card automatically and I believe that the property tax is included in my maintenance bill.
I know that property tax we pay is tax deductible for Federal Income tax purposes. How do I know how much property that I paid during the year? Will I get some statetment from the County or will FF send me a statement indicating my share of property tax that I paid for my FF Ocean Ridge timeshare.
Thanks in advance for your response.

In South Carolina, the property tax is included in your MFs. The tax law allows you to deduct the tax if the tax is imposed on you, but not if the tax is imposed on the resort.

Thus, if your tax is separately stated on your MF billing, you can deduct it. However, if it's buried in the resort's financial statements, you aren't supposed to deduct it.
